20日、21日に小学生とキャンプ場でキャンプをしました　今年は、ネイスン先生がゲストで来てくれましたＥＰのイベントによく来てくれるので、子どもたちともとてもコミュニケーションがとれていました　
　キャンプでは、キャンプ場でしか味わえない非日常生活をびっちり英語づけで行いました　はじめから、英語のみでがんがんジョークを飛ばす子どもたちに、と～～～っても感激しました

On June 26, 2014 for hybrid class, we pitched a tent together in the lesson room.  All of the kids seemed to enjoy it, even if some of them were a little camera shy.  It took a lot of cooperation (which means working together)  but the children were able to pitch the tent and take it down by themselves with no physical help from the teacher. 



 

This is a typical English Day: The children who finish their school homework early go to the lesson room and practice reading the book I pick out for that month.  In June, the book we read was Danny and the Dinosaur go to Camp by Syd Hoff.  It is a story about a boy named Danny who has a friend dinosaur that he invites to camp.  The camp owner welcomes the dinosaur and the camp leader, Lana does different activites with them like taking them on a hike or rowing boats on a lake. The dinosaur is very big so Danny and the other children enjoy playing with him.

During English day, the children who read well, help the ones who don't read very well yet.







After they finish reading we usually go shopping and prepare something to eat for dinner.
Sometimes Noriko cooks dinner and the kids each choose a different activity to do.  Of course everything is done in English.
